In the early part of 1982, while our primitive Christian group was
witnessing
in a rural community outside of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia; I met
a
young man named Eusebio, a muncipal gardener, who enthusiastically
agreed to
a study of the Bible with me. He later admited that he had been watching
us
for some time as we visited each and every house in his section of town.
He
patiently waited his turn and told his wife beforehand that they would
listen
to whatever it was we had to say. He did not know much about the Bible
but he
did know this much: The very first Christian preached to complete
strangers
from house to house, just as their master Jesus had set the example.
Euscebio himself became a teacher of primitive Christianity that same
year
after studying the Bible for just five short months. Twenty-five years
later
he is still busy in this work and has helped thirty-five others to
become
primitive Christian preachers who in turn are assisting others.
Just, how does primitive Christianity differ from traditional
Christianity?
